Zedwick is currently looking into solutions in 1.9 that could ignore baby mobs, relieving a lot of the frustration that players are feeling.<br /> <br /> <br /> ===The End in 1.9===<br /> - Zedwick still has not decided if the entire End will be reset when LVS switches to Minecraft version 1.9, but a new, single, expanded Enderman Farm will be built at that time.<br /> <br /> - Concerns were raised about how summoning Ender Dragons will be regulated, as they can be spawned multiple times using the new, craftable End Crystals.<br /> <br /> - Concerns were also expressed about End Strongholds being raided immediately, leaving little for new players.<br /> <br /> - Zedwick concluded that more research and testing of 1.9's additions had to be done, and further discussion will be held closer to the release of 1.9.<br /> <br /> <br /> ===Spawn Hub Tunnels (Mafoo)===<br /> Mafoo discussed the recent renovations the the lower North, East, South and West Wings of Spawn Hub. Tunnels in these hub wings have been dug extending to the World Border in their respective directions to further help players easily connect to the Spawn Hub. These tunnels will feature rails and ice paths for fast sprint-jumping.<br /> <br /> <br /> ===Spawn Hub Protection (Zedwick/Mafoo)===<br /> Zedwick asked the council if the Hub(s)' protection should be expanded, and by how much, if any. By majority vote, it was decided that the Spawn Hub's protection would be expanded down to Y level 0. Any tunnels currently in that area would be redirected.
