Zedwork Zurvival (Zz for short) is a vanilla-esque Minecraft Server with an emphasis on collaboration and community. The server features land protection, fast-travel region posts and a few other changes with a focus on bringing the core Minecraft experience we all know and love to a public multiplayer server.

Server Address
mc.zedwork.co.uk

The server's philosophy
There's no grief. Not only do we prevent grief before it can happen with claim protection, but we will typically catch, and ban, those up to no good extremely fast.

We encourage community spirit, and don't take kindly on griefing, stealing or PVPing in an non-civil manner. PVP is allowed, but only if both parties consent to it. Surprise attacks on players who are building, or going about their business is not accepted practice here. The Guardians will step in if they see your behaviour as unsavoury.

Players always start in a resource rich environment alongside other players just starting out. No more walking hundreds of blocks out of spawn before you can build. No more searching for caves, only to discover they've already been stripped of all valuables. You're dropped right in with other players who want the same as you: to find a nice spot to build; and you're never far from trees and other natural resources to mine.

Rules
Zurvival has a few rules. These are the basic rules of the server:

DO
* Replant crops you harvest in the community farms
* Be friendly and kind
* Explore the world
* Have Fun!
* Speak English in public chat

DO NOT
* Steal
* Grief
* Attack Players (unless agreed)
* Enter Builds (unless invited)
* Cheat (mod/exploit)
* Advertise other servers ect.

The gameplay
We are vanilla. This does not mean no plugins, completely unprotected. What we mean is there is a focus on the core Minecraft experience. There are no game-changing plugins; nothing to distract from simply playing Minecraft.
Most of the people on the server are far spread out into all directions of the wind! A lot start building their own base, houses or projects on their own. But the people are nice and often help each other with their projects, give or trade items and come together for community projects, like preparing the next spawn regions with farms and streets.Players will often just live friendly next to each other while chatting a bit.

It is fun to visit others and see their progress of their buildings, towns and more. Even after hundreds of hours on the server, one can still find new interesting and awe inspiring buildings. Some Travel Guides will lead you to the greatest and still important regions.
The server features food community farms at spawn, has an EXP farm in the end (made by The1Shaw) and a lot of other public or private mob and EXP farms.

But the core experience is the vanilla Minecraft we all know, even while some plugins will make your life easier.

Features
There are a few plugins on Zurvival that help protect players or make the life of a player just a bit easier. For more information refer to the complete list or the starter guide.
The following are the most important ones on the server:

Region Posts
Regions are set by the region posts which are 400 blocks apart over the whole map. Most of them have a name, unnamed ones are just called 'Wilderness'.
You will spawn at the newest region, which is currently Newestregion link. It is made for new players to start right away with building their first home.

A lot of players will regard the regions they live in as a kind of address. Over time you will learn their region names and other regions you may find useful.
Region List
There are also Region Guides, go to the Starter Guide for some info on more!

Claiming Land
One of the most important ways to prevent grief is the use of claims. You will gather more blocks to widen your claims over time but the first claim of a new player will be set around the first chest they place down. Only the owner of the claim will be able to mine or place blocks on a claim. Other players can be trusted to do so to via a command, too.

Zedkins
Zedkins is a council of players that decide matters for and with the community, start and support community projects, and ask Zedwick for changes.

Meetings are monthly and every Zedling can become part of Zedkins if nominated and voted in.

History and Lore
!!! first online day, what version,

On Zurvival we have a lot of history in the past 4 years, but also a lot of lore and stories, often amusing and sometimes based on real events on the server. Due to those stories we have a few 'factions' that don't actually do anything in-game but being a fun thing. There are also a few in-game books written by the players about those topics as if they were fact.

If you're interested in the lore and some inside jokes, just look at the lore or the in-joke pages!

Hypehuman: Minor cleanup. Why did I bother? This looks like fun btw :)

"Dungeon Dash" is the biggest zestygame to arrive at Zedwork, a procedurally generated dungeon crawler created mainly by Dax23333, HOMINIX, Zedwick and Memery. Players dive into the dungeon to fight hordes of monsters, battling past deadly traps and difficult encounters. As players get deeper underground the combat and traps become far more dangerous, culminating in a very special boss battle. While not easy, the game mostly uses vanilla PvE mechanics and so should be quite easy to understand.

Classes
In Dungeon Dash players can choose from 6 classes, each with different status effects and abilities. Class abilities are powerful effects that can be used once and then require a cooldown. Right clicking your carrot on a stick activates them.
Soldier
With neutral effects the soldier is a class suited to melee and ranged combat. Their ability, Battle Rally, gives them and nearby teammates an attack and speed boost while it is active and also refreshes the Soldiers signature Fire Bombs.

Chef
Chef is the healer of Dungeon Dash, using thrown profiteroles to restore allies health. Their ability places a barbecue that regenerates health of nearby allies, as well as producing food that restores health or gives strength. Chef class has faster movement speed than normal, but does less damage with melee hits.

Berserker
Focusing on all-out damage, the berserker class trades chest and head armor for permanent strength boost. Their ability provides resistance and even more strength, eliminates all knockback and instantly restores 6 hearts.

Hunter
The ranged specialist of Dungeon Dash, the hunter class starts with an infinity bow and has quicker movement speed than normal. They do less damage with melee attacks. Their ability places a trap that lays in wait until an enemy steps on it, at which point it bursts out of the ground and kills monsters in a radius around it.

Mage
Mage class uses summoning to provide a combat edge. Though they have lower armor than usual, their ability summons an iron golem to deal heavy damage to monsters in the dungeon. They start with a fireball staff, a bow that shoots fireballs. The more you draw back the string, the greater the power will be!

Tank
Tank class focuses on resistance and shield use. Starting with an unbreakable shield, the tank can block any enemy attack, taking no damage. Boasting increased armor to boost their already very good defense, they do move slower and hit slower. The Tank's class ability, Armor Burst, sets off an explosion around the Tank, which deals massive damage to nearby enemies.
