I got banned from the server because : taking a single diamond out from the chest near the spawn.

ok look, this is just ridiculous.
First: I DO NOT KNOW whats the consequences for doing so. I only dig in out of curiosity that I DID NOT even break the glass to get in, I WAS going to put it back but then I simply got banned without me have a chance to explain.I WAS GOING TO PUT IT BACK, BUT GET BANNED ONLY FOR TAKING IT OUT?

and yes I DO KNOW that stealing is NOT ALLOWED, when I joined the server I checked there is a little hut near the spawn and I go there checked that there is about five diamond in that chest, I DID maybe take it out but I NEVER TOOK IT AWAY? I WAS GOING TO PUT IT BACK, BUT GET BANNED ONLY FOR TAKING IT OUT? you can check the log to see it.

and in game I've made a lot of progress including spend more than 8 hour already for the second day of playing.. having my house half finished, and yes I MINE DIAMOND BY MYSELF AND NO I DO NOT CARE ABOUT DIAMOND, THERE IS NO WAY I WILL NEED TO STEALING FROM OTHER PEOPLE? I still have at least 2 sets of diamond that i found didn't got a chance to mine yet, WHY WOULD I EVEN BOTHER STEALING FROM THE SPAWN? There Is much more chance that I could easily stole from so much other people if I really want to do so, BUT DID I DO IT? NO

And when I was just passing by the spawn i saw that building and only out of curiosity, i dig down to get in to see whats in the chest (to not break glass cause i have no silk touch, so that i won't rebuild it), if there is any sigh outside that indicate break in or taking stuff is not allowed or perhaps I saw any, THERE IS NO WAY I WILL BREAK IN FOR A SINGLE DIAMOND AND GIVING UP ALL THE PROGRESS THAT I'VE MADE ON THIS SERVER?

overall what I want to say is I got banned without warned, and if I know the consequence, I will not do so. And I do think I've showed my personality in game already. If you insist to ban me from the server, I guess can only suggest that people stay away from this server, not because the community, but because this strange ambiguous rule.

Out of curiosity and without any warn( maybe there is but i swear I didn't see any) i dig into the little glass globe in the spawn( i didn't even break the glass to make sure that i can rebuild it) too see whats in the little chest that somebody would build such thing to hold it. and i got banned for only taking a single diamond out of the chest? If i was warned for the consequences there is no way i will take that diamond out of that chest. and without warning, are you all setting that thing up just to bait people's curiosity and banned them?

I already have diamonds, 4 in inventory and 2 sets waiting for me to mine, why would I even bother to steal it?

i joined this server yesterday but already spend 8+hour on here, I spend so much time and effort on my unfinished house and meet and play with other people, and now you banned me just because this? and I did not even got a chance to explain then were kicked out of the server?

this is really frustrating and disappointing. I've been waiting for my first report to be sent to you guys but its already 5 hours pass and I still haven't seen it post on your forum.

and I will accentuate again: I am NOT a STEALER NOR GRIEFER, I am A BUILDER and already spend so much time and effort into your server. I hope this can reach you're all sooner.

giving you some advise, at least ban people that taking the diamond away, instead of just taking it out from the inventory.

the point that i'm trying to make here is not I'm don't feel sorry for break the rules, is that I did such unintentionally, did not understand it and did not get warned.
I've sent my apologies through private messages, and I'm sorry for those frustrations in the post.
Again, I do respect the rules, I'm sorry for the mistakes, and I won't do such again.

Since there is very little chance for me to get back to the server, oh well. Before I leave I want make another apology for the aggressive languages that I've had( those caps).
I hope you can forgive me for using such, by the time I wrote this post I was really frustrated and annoyed, but bring my own negative emotions to others who have nothing to do with this is just . It's my own stupid mistake, and It's the consequences for me to suffer.

I respect you, zed, this server and this "strict rule". Please, don't just denying, at least give me a reason than just "you're not sorry." I'm certain that strict rule can always gives reason.

I know these two post at the beginning is quite aggressive, and I sent one that is much clear to you in pm before you reply, and another one only wants a reply on my posts, both with polite languages yet you called it " bothering you in pm?" and "Banning me for doing such"? But do I at least get a result on what I am asking for? Where is the logic?

What do you want from me? I made several apologies and promises over a single unintentional mistake that did not hurt anyone but myself. I could not think of any reason for you to draw the conclusion of "you're not sorry."

You are not a god, and please, stop that arrogant attitude. Is only watching people begging you, make them apologize amuses you?

Honestly, your two replies pissed me off much more than my own stupid mistake. Yet I've made another one, that is asking you to unban me.

You do not seem to respect the rules nor the community.

There are rules posted at spawn, which you would have passed as they surround the exit. Do not steal is one such rule, as is Do not enter uninvited.

The automatic jailing and banning will only occur if the item entered your inventory. It did, and is still there. You will not have been banned for simply picking up the item on your mouse pointer, without moving them to your own inventory slots.

Curiosity is not an excuse to enter a build uninvited. That rule exists to avoid situations where you are suspected to be up to no good. Players, as I’m sure you can understand, may be quite apprehensive of other players roaming their property and looking in their chests. It’s not nice to have ones stuff rifled through, especially when new players often do steal given the chance. They just do not know what you are up to and it can be very distressing.

Your first appeal evidenced no acceptance that you were even remotely in the wrong for messing with that chest. You may or may not have intended to leave with that diamond, but you shouldn’t have been touching it in the first place. You were quite squarely in the wrong, though arguably banning outright would be heavy handed. Regardless, you messed up and needed to take responsibility for that.

You did, after some prompting, make a nice apology. At this point, we were quite prepared to urban you - I just needed a little time to confirm a few details of your appeal to ensure it was all in truth. Unfortunately, not even 24 hours later you decided you needed to attack me over this. You appear to feel you are owed a second chance, contacting myself and several others through your impatience having not gotten the result you were after here.

I do not feel comfortable allowing you back, as I cannot be sure that you will respect our rules having given little to no indication as such.

I was just passing through "Records of The Ban Hammer" as most do and I'm not sure if it is appropriate to add my two cents, but...ummm whoa! Seriously? Lady B and Zed handle things with incredible patience and understanding. Calling them out for not doing things on your terms or time is just wrong. Being disrespectful isn't the way to get things done. Just saying!
