Zurvival is currently undertaking the great world upgrade, and has already managed to upgrade 45% of the overworld!

Zz is expected to be back online in 1.17.1 by late afternoon UK time.

Zz's Resource Dimension will be available from anywhere in the overworld. You will need just need a few base items:

Zz is now online and running 1.17.1!

We're running much earlier than expected, but the Resource Dimension is now available.

There are also a selection of Update Firsts advancements available for you to collect. The first player to interact with the new update in specific ways will earn the advancement for being the first! ^_^ Those who have played on LVS, or know anyone who has, may have a leg up on knowing which firsts are available, but there are still 3 firsts unaccounted for on LVS. :O

Do you have to light a green candle with a flint and steel?

ABParadigm takes the claim to being the first to find their way to the Resource Dimension, despite a bit of technical difficulties.

To enter the Resource Dimension you will need to craft a candle and a flint and steel, place the candle, light it and then drop a bit of green dye onto the candle to summon an entrance to this new dimension.


Throw a green dye on to a lit candle and a portal will appear!

A few sleuths among you may have stumbled across a small mystery, etched into the walls of the LVS tunnel itself.
The full mystery is not yet solved, but every day we will reveal a little more of what's been uncovered!

The stairblock walls of the tunnel, when transcribed in musical notation, come up with a small melody:


If you and a brave puzzler were to stand on the pressure plates in the tunnel, you may hear this same melody playing, with a few curious additions.
What could those additions mean? See if you can crack it yourself, or find out tomorrow when that secret is revealed!

Fun facts - when Dax and Zed were finalising the mystery of the tunnel, someone logged in just before they had finished cramming all the secrets away! They were told there was something hidden in Extreme Hills nether hub, and scurried away in search! They didn't find what they were looking for, but the tunnel's secrets were then ready to be revealed!

So what's the secret of the tunnel melody? Feel free to keep sleuthing, or click the spoiler below!

The bass notes playing underneath the tunnel melody can be translated into binary!
Using each note as 1 and each rest as 0, it spells out ZF-3280!
