Starting today the changelogs have their own sub forum, with separate topics for Zurvival, LVS, the ZestyGames and general Zedwork changes which would affect all Zedwork players. Hopefully this makes it easier to see what's being worked on and improved, without clogging up General Discourse ;)

Changes made recently:
  • Lobby server has had some minor improvements aesthetically
  • All Lobby parkour courses are now completable, and feature improved respawn points (sorry this took so long to fix)
  • The lobby is now accessible at any time using the /lobby command
  • Relogging whilst connected to any ZestyGames server or the Lobby will now reconnect you straight back to that same server. Should help get you back into ZestyGames faster following disconnections. (Will now need to use /lobby to get back to your survival server)
  • AFK/idle players will now be transferred to the lobby, rather than booted from the network
  • Changes to chat filtering
  • Improved spam prevention
  • Lobby and Network now support 1.9, 1.9.1 and 1.9.2 clients.
  • Dropped support for 1.8 clients on the lobby.

Completable in the same way some infinities are countable.

Just a simple fix for the images in the lobby sometimes being garbled or replaced with map images from other servers. May also prevent those images replacing images on other servers, especially certain ZestyGames which rely on maps for their tutorials ;)

Lobby
  • Added some randomisation to map IDs to avoid duplicates

Have moved our website and forums over to a new host, which means I have finally regained access to easily modify the site.

To celebrate, here are a few changes:
  • Updated server version numbers on Home page
  • Removed old, outdated, help page from navigation links
  • Enabled SSL encryption across zedwork.co.uk. (You can now see a little lock symbol in your browser's address bar, indicating this. Some forum pages with insecure user linked images will remove the lock symbol, however your login session will still be secure.)
  • Your skin now shows on user bar at the top of the forums

Recommend changing your forum passwords to benefit from the better security.

Over the last 2 days I have upgraded Zedwork's permissions system across all servers. There should be no immediate user-facing changes due to this, but it should allow more flexibility behind the scenes. Our new permissions system is also ready for Minecraft 1.12, where-as the previous system exhibited some odd behaviors on bukkit servers.
